Dementia 2020 Transforming Care, Support & Research
Govconnect is a social enterprise dedicated to assisting the wide range of organisations challenged with delivering the NHS 5 year forward view strategy and all other associated healthcare policy.
Dementia 2020 – 12th April 2016 – Church House – London
We seek to ensure that the vision for Health and Care is delivered upon, and all partner organisations have a platform through which they can communicate implementation strategies, disseminate best practice and share lessons learned.
Through a series of strategic conferences and accompanying digital and social engagement strategies, Govconnect will provide a platform to drive greater collaboration.
In turn, it is hoped that models of care can be improved upon, partnerships strengthened and that through engagement with local communities and their local and national delivery agents tasked with the provision of Health & Care; the quality of patient experience, safety, and care is enhanced.
We are in agreement with NHS England, that the future health of millions of children, the sustainability of the NHS, and the economic prosperity of Britain all now depend on a radical upgrade of the NHS with a renewed focus on prevention & public health along with a reshaping of the current care system.
As a nation we’ve taken the unique step anywhere in the world of entrusting frontline clinicians with two thirds (£66 billion) of our health service funding. Many CCG’s are driving change in their local health systems and some fantastic work is occurring across the nation; through our series of conferences we aim to provide a platform for this great work to be transferred across all regions and localities so as variations in standards can be reduced, efficiencies created and quality improved upon.
To ensure that we deliver on our pledge we are urging policy makers, government departments and all responsible agencies and organisations to work with us on these unique set of challenges.
As a social enterprise we will work with a range of local community projects on issues linked to Dementia, Long Term Conditions & Public Health in addition to investing our profits to key research charities and many other worthy causes.
